About the proposal
Waikato District Council has applied for a suite of resource consents from Environment Waikato and Waikato District Council as part of a proposal to authorise the construction of a new footbridge in the coastal marine area, including removal of the existing Kopua footbridge, disturbance of the foreshore and seabed, and vehicle use, in the Whaingaroa (Raglan) Harbour. The site is located in the vicinity of Wallis Street, Raglan.

You may make a submission on the above applications by sending it in writing (on the appropriate form) to Environment Waikato. You must also send a copy of your submission to Waikato District Council, whose address is Private Bag 544, Ngaruawahia 3742.
The closing date for submissions is 5pm, Friday 13 August 2010.
